Electing the Next Generation of HBCU Leaders to Congress
Building a pipeline from campus to Congress by investing in Historically Black College & University (HBCU) graduates, amplifying their leadership, and supporting their path to public office.
What is ElectHBCU?
ElectHBCU is a Political Action Committee working to increase the number of HBCU graduates serving in Congress. Through our political action committee, we directly support candidates running for office.
What We Do
Educate
We break down the policies shaping HBCUs and the communities they serve.
Through clear, accessible insights like our Policy Pulse Newsletter, we help students, alumni, and supporters understand the legislation impacting higher education, voting rights, and civic participation.
Elevate
HBCU graduates are running for office across the country, and their stories deserve to be seen and supported.
Through Candidate Spotlights and community storytelling, we amplify their voices, highlight their priorities, and connect them with a broader network of supporters.
Elect
Representation doesn’t happen by accident—it takes community support, visibility, and momentum.
We mobilize donors, volunteers, and advocates to help HBCU candidates succeed and celebrate the leaders already serving in public office.
